Let’s vision together

A Community Gathering Space for
Community builders

Do you have a vision for the community you want to be a part of? But when you look around, that community just doesn’t exist?

That’s for a reason. And the reason is that you are being called to build that community. You are being called to become the person who anchors that vision into reality.

I won’t lie to you. This is work.

It is work that requires not just intelligence and strategy, but also a deeply embodied knowing and trust in your vision. It is work that invites you to face your fears and limiting beliefs, and choose to commit to the vision you hold anyways.

It is work… but it’s not work you have to do alone.

Calling all community builders

Sunset over the wildflowers denoting a sense of nostalgia and peace

A Practice In Being is your opportunity to join a community of community builders–of people like you who have a vision in their heart, and are doing the work to anchor that vision in reality. This is a space where you can be held through the challenges of this transformative of work, supported in your growth, and celebrated in your triumphs.

When community builders come together, a new vision starts to take shape

Every one has a role to play in community, but few are called to create it.

A Practice In Being is your invitation to step onto the creation path.

Once a week, we gather in this shared container, and get very honest about the experiences we are having. And then, holding an energetic container of grace and curiosity, we help each other navigate the experiences and uncertainty.

Weekly topics vary, but re-occurring themes will include:

  1. A deepening understanding of personal core values and how embodying our values draws in community
  2. Re-wiring the perception of our fears to see what we are scared of as an opportunity for curiosity and learning
  3. Real-time practice on how to ground yourself and regulate your energy through discomfort, so you can make choices based in alignment rather than your comfort zone

Vibrant Systems Is Inviting You

Building community has always been a passion of mine, even when I didn’t have thriving and aligned communities around me. But for years, I was scared of building an aligned community myself, because I thought that no one else would want to be there.

I was scared of building the community I wanted to see in the world, and of being alone in that space.

I know now that that’s not the case.

Wherever you are coming into A Practice In Being from, whatever fears or doubts you may hold, I want to see you in this container. I know that it is through overcoming our fears and doubts, and connecting more deeply to our inner authenticity, that we empower ourselves to become the creators and connectors we dream of being. And I know that we need your vision in this world, just as much as we need mine.

Land Acknowledgement

I live and work on the traditional lands of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations, and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. I also work across Turtle Island, and work in the traditional territories of all Turtle Island’s First Peoples.

As an Albertan with settler ancestry living in Treaty 7 Territory, I celebrate all Treaty peoples. We all have a responsibility to care for the Land we live on. This Land is home to countless nations, animals, plants, and medicines deserving of our care and respect. Vibrant Systems seeks to honour the traditional knowledges and relationships across Canada, and support Reconciliation through the work I do each day.
